'Tis the night before our flight, Jasmine is soundly sleeping and Mommy is checking off the final items to pack for our trip. For the 411, Jasmine and I are heading off to California first thing tomorrow morning leaving Daddy behind, who will follow us in a few days. Jasmine has no idea that she is to soon embark on a 14 hour flight. We'll see how she tolerates her first plane ride. Being alone without Ken makes me a little anxious, but I think we'll be okay if Jasmine doesn't create a fuss. Apparently, this is a great age to travel with a little one. Let's see if this opinion proves true.
On another note, Jasmine just had her 4 month well-baby check this week and her shots. I was amazed at how well she tolerated the shots this time around. She is not too fond of the nurses who like to stick those icky needles in her and tried her best not to co-operate, but she quickly transpired to her pleasant demeanor as soon as the shots were over and done with. According to the growth chart, Jasmine is progressing well and is in the 25 percentile range for everything. That's our Asian baby! We're delighted at her progress, but wish she wasn't growing so quickly.
Pray for us as we leave our humble abode here on Guam.
