“For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. It teaches us to say "No" to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age,”- Titus 2:11-12 Lilypie Kids birthday Ticker Lilypie Kids birthday Ticker

Jesus in the family makes a "happy happy home"

This last weekend of June summed up an insightful and awesome three week family life seminar series that was hosted by our Southern Asia Division Conference President from the Philippines, Pastor Alberto Gulfan. Pastor Gulfan presented different topics each night for three weeks about living in a happier home, some of which included: 10 Things Men should know about Women; 10 Things Women should know about Men; How to Be Stress Free; Resolving Conflicts in Trying Times; Intimate Relationships God's Way; Rescuing Relationships on the Brink of Collapse; Survive Financially in Challenging Economic Times; Secrets of Successful Communication; Understanding the Opposite Sex; ... He provided doctrine from the Bible to support and understand how to deal with different situations and of course information about the Spirit of Prophecy was included.
This last Sabbath, Pastor Gulfan baptized approximately twenty people (according to my resources) at Adelupe beach near the Governor's Complex here on Guam. That evening an appreciation concert was held to conclude the series and there were many people very willing and excited to show their talent and praise for our Lord. What a blessing, indeed! Blessings also to Nellie Joy Roberts, our radio host on Guam's very own Adventist radio channel, Joy 92, for organizing the concert.
The large tent was situated in a very public area and was privately owned. As a gift to the church, the owner of that land offered to pay for all the electricity bills that was used for the month of June and even offered for the church to use that land in the upcoming six months if ever needed again. Blessings upon miracles happened this month of June.
Below are just a few pictures of the seminar that happened this month.
